DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Design/Construction of a new 1,700 SF home, single story, wood framed with a attached 20’ x 20’ carport, Standard Finishes. Complete with, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, Concrete Slab 5" over 4" sand, Provide a 5" Propane house pad, Water connection is at the meter located at the road, to provide a septic system, Exterior stucco, tile single roof system (roof pitch 3:12), Insulation: R 28, 11. Dry wall interior walls and ceilings. Linoleum flooring at bathroom and kitchen areas, all other flooring should be 25oz carpet, standard floor rubber base. 2-panel interior doors/ Front and rear door shall be wood, 2-panel sliding wardrobe doors. Low - E Tempered glass windows, Kitchen cabinets & bathroom cabinets - laminate countertops, straight hardwood panel cabinets /doors-with standard finishes. Wood style window shades. Permits are not required, however will need to adherence to California Building Codes,
Qualify your proposal as to type of: finishes, materials, fixtures…. your firm is proposing on.
This is a Prevailing Wage project. Federal funds are being utilized.
Sub Bonding may be required for proposals over $50,000, Be sure to add your bonding rate to your proposal.
Estimated construction cost: $510,000
The work shall be completed within 270 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed.

PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS
The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations and Federal Acquisition Regulation. At the time of submitting a bid, the subcontractor shall possess a valid license issued by the California Contractors State License Board. In addition, the bidder shall be registered with the DIR as a public works contractor.
PREVAILING WAGE PROJECTS
Subcontractor and its agents, employees, and tiered subcontractors shall comply with provisions of the California Labor Code, including those relating to payment of prevailing rates of wages.
BONDING
DBR General Engineering, may require all subcontractors to be prepared to furnish performance and payment bonds issued by an admitted surety in the amount of their bid. Premium cost to be included in bid as a separate bid item. DBR General Engineering, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to waive the requirement for such bond, to permit substitute security, or to accept alternate guarantees in lieu of such bonds.
